Overview
The Lead Analyst will build and maintain a strong rapport with sales management, sales executives and internal business functions to ensure ongoing decision support needs are met. Act as partner, supporting and reinforcing corporate initiatives at field level as well as at the enterprise level. Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as necessary. The Lead Analyst will be required to solve a wide range of problems with varying degrees of difficulty. They will use professional operations concepts along with company policies and procedures in all aspects. They will be responsible for developing a high-quality product with a consistent high degree of accuracy. They must have the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Build & maintain accurate forecasting of the sales pipeline within key strategic markets, measurement of key productivity indicators (KPIs) and has a high-level knowledge of major deals.
- Partnering with Account Managers on customer account plans, quarterly business reviews, and managed service renewals
- Ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis and reporting of sales data.
- Proactively monitor sales data to identify trends, anomalies and other insights.
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for sales leadership as well as executive-level reporting packages for the Director & VP, Sales Operations & Enablement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive executive-level monthly and quarterly reports, trend reporting, metrics and analytics.
- Recommend revisions to existing reports or assist in the development of reports, predictive analytics models and insights.
- Ensure data integrity of opportunity source data in Salesforce.com.
- Support annual budgeting and planning process through sales analytics, scenario analysis, cross-functional interactions and deliverables within defined regions/verticals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process inefficiencies, recommend improvements and lead process re-engineering initiatives.
- Support deal review process.
- 10-15 years of sales operations, finance or accounting experience including 5 years’ experience in information technology services industry.
- Must have excellent analytical skills combined with strong business judgment and strong finance and accounting knowledge.
- Must have solid working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
- Strong in Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience in business intelligence platforms a plus.
- Experience training and onboarding new sales professionals.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment across multiple groups.
